Tyneham (Dorset)

Tyneham is Dorset’s most famous lost village taken over in November 1943 by the army. The village is still part of the Lulworth firing ranges with access only allowed when there is no firing.

Only the church and school house remain intact. The schoolhouse has been restored and contains interesting displays of schoolwork.

From the car park there is a lovely walk to Warbarrow Bay.
