Axmouth (Devon)

Axmouth is situated at the entrance of a Coombe, with a clear brook flowing down its street. The peace and tranquility of Axmouth make it a popular venue. The Sea Discovery Centre is interesting and is on the eastern side of the river Axe, beside the harbour, and opposite the yacht club. This attraction is suitable for all ages including toddlers. The River Axe meanders its way through the valley and into Lyme Bay. The harbour moors the boats of the local fishermen.
